Delivery
Although your order will usually be dispatched immediately, please allow 10 working days for delivery. If any item you have ordered is out of stock we will contact you to offer an alternative choice or refund. If the out of stock item is from our range of resin bases and scenery it will be made to fill the order straight away.
Payment Methods
We accept payments through PayPal from all destinations. You may also pay by cheque, postal order or personal cheque made payable to Daemonscape (U.K. only). If paying by cheque of postal order please print your order from your basket, enclose payment and send to our postal address detailed below. For orders from overseas we can only accept payment by PayPal at the moment. Thankyou.
Refunds / Exchanges / Returns
Please note that all items are sold un-painted unless stated otherwise.
If for any reason whatsover you are not completely satisfied with your purchase -
· Simply return items within 14 days of receipt and we will replace it, or
· you can choose any other items up to the same value, or
· we will issue a full refund excluding delivery costs, no questions asked.
· All returned items must be unpainted, unmodified or assembled and in their original packaging.
· Return postage is met by the customer.
Health and Safety
ALL the items we sell are for war gaming and not suitable for children under 6 years. Resin items are by nature unhealthy if eaten, so don't be tempted to see what they taste like! You have been warned! Seriously!!
If drilling, sanding, filling or painting any resin item please wear appropriate dust masks, eye protection and do it all in a well ventilated area.
Painting & Modeling Information
The resin used in our models is lightweight and easy to paint, drill and glue. All figures should be pinned to the bases to prevent them being knocked off, we find super glue is best (children under 12 years should be supervised by an adult). If like us you like to modify everything to make it your own then PVA glue works well for flock, extra grit, stones and detail.
All resin items require cleaning prior to undercoating as there will be a little resin dust and mould lines on the item from the casting process. We do not use a release agent in our moulds as the resin is formulated to release itself, however you will need to rinse your scenery in soapy water to remove dust prior to undercoating.
When painting, please undercoat the items with spray paint first to ensure that normal water based paints will stick. We find the best paints to use are Games Workshop and Foundry acrylics for the detail work; we've used these paints for 20 years now with no reason for complaint. For the undercoat we use vehicle undercoat spray paints as you get more for your money and they come in many colours; black, grey, yellow, red and white.
